A 12 To 1 Drive Ratio, And It Takes Both Cartridges And Sausages

This is the heavy duty dispenser Techniseal designed for their StickyStone vertical hardscape adhesive. Two things make it worth owning: a 12 to 1 drive ratio, which is what makes a full day of veneer work possible without wrecking your hand, and the fact that it converts between a 10 oz cartridge and a 20 oz sausage, so one tool covers both formats.

12 to 1 Drive Ratio
Less effort per trigger pull
Converts Formats
10 oz cartridge or 20 oz sausage
Professional Build
Heavy duty construction
Made For StickyStone
Quick and easy application

Why Contractors Ask for StickyStone Dispenser Gun by Name

Veneer work is thousands of trigger pulls. The drive ratio on the gun is the single thing that determines whether your hand still works at four in the afternoon.

  • Efficient 12 to 1 drive ratio. That multiplies your hand force considerably compared with a cheap gun, which matters most with a thick, high grab adhesive like StickyStone.
  • It converts between formats. A 10 oz cartridge for small jobs and touch ups, a 20 oz sausage for volume work, from the same tool.
  • Professional build quality. Techniseal built it as a heavy duty dispenser rather than a giveaway accessory.
  • Designed specifically for StickyStone, so the flow and pressure suit that adhesive rather than fighting it.
  • Sausages produce far less waste than cartridges, and being able to run them is part of what makes a veneer job economical.
  • Buy it once. It is a tool, not a consumable, and it will outlast a great many tubes.

Where StickyStone Dispenser Gun Works

Anywhere StickyStone is being applied at more than touch up scale.

  • Stone veneer on outdoor kitchens and bar structures
  • Fire pit and fireplace surrounds
  • Column, pier, and pillar cladding
  • Wall facing and seating wall veneer
  • Interior feature walls
  • Porcelain cladding on vertical surfaces
  • Any crew running StickyStone in sausage format for volume work

Where StickyStone Dispenser Gun Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)

This dispenser is built for StickyStone cartridges and sausages. It is not the dispenser for the Structure Bond foam canister, which uses its own gun.

Clean it after use per the instructions. Adhesive left to cure inside a dispenser is very difficult to remove.

A good gun does not fix a bad substrate. Surface preparation still determines whether the veneer stays on the wall.

How to Install StickyStone Dispenser Gun

Follow the official Techniseal instructions, linked below. This is the shape of using it:

  1. Set the gun for the format you are using, cartridge or sausage.
  2. Load the StickyStone adhesive per the instructions.
  3. Cut the nozzle to the bead size the application calls for.
  4. Test the bead on a scrap piece before applying to finished veneer.
  5. Apply with steady trigger pressure, releasing between pieces to prevent oozing.
  6. Clean the gun before the adhesive cures inside it.

Release the trigger pressure between pieces. A high grab adhesive keeps extruding under residual pressure, and that is how it ends up on the face of the stone.

Quick Answers

What does a 12 to 1 drive ratio mean?
It is the mechanical advantage the gun gives you. A higher ratio means less hand force per trigger pull, which matters enormously over a full day of veneer work.

Can it take sausages as well as cartridges?
Yes. It converts between a 10 oz cartridge and a 20 oz sausage.

Will it work with Structure Bond?
No. Structure Bond is a foam canister system with its own dedicated dispenser.

Do I need it to use StickyStone?
StickyStone applies with an applicator gun, and this is the heavy duty one Techniseal designed for it.

Is it worth it over a hardware store gun?
For occasional touch ups, maybe not. For a veneer job of any size, the drive ratio and the sausage capability are what make the day workable.

Pairs Well With

  • Techniseal StickyStone adhesive, the product this gun is built for
  • Techniseal Structure Bond and its Gun II dispenser for horizontal and structural bonding
  • Techniseal RG+ for wet and frozen surface bonding
