PolySweep Polymeric Sand and Jointing
PolySweep is the standard joint sand and PolySweep X-Treme is the wide joint version. Paver Jointing Sand covers the simpler installations. Where the job is permeable interlocking concrete pavement, the system changes entirely: PS1500 is a ready to use permeable jointing compound, Perm Chips is the ASTM No. 9 joint aggregate, and SB-1000 PermStik stabilizes the chip so it stays in the joint.
Permeable joints are set by the paver spacer bars rather than by choice, which is why the coverage on these products does not change with joint width. Our resin and permeable jointing calculator covers PS1500 on the published chart.
SEK Surebond Colors by Product
SEK gives its colors distinctive names, and the permeable products use a different palette from the polymeric sands. Here is the full SEK Surebond color range we stock, with sample kits available on the PolySweep sands.
| SEK Surebond Product | Colors Available |
| PolySweep Polymeric Sand, 50 lb | Tan, Black, Pearl, Platinum, Gray, Fieldstone |
| PolySweep X-Treme Wide Joint, 50 lb | Black, Tan, Platinum, Gray, Fieldstone |
| Paver Jointing Sand, 50 lb | Tan, Gray, Platinum |
| PS1500 Permeable Jointing Compound | Pebble, Slate, Granite |
| Perm Chips Permeable Joint Aggregate | Saturn Tan, Stormy Gray, Eclipse Black |
Sample kits for the PolySweep sands are in the color samples collection.
SEK Surebond Sealers and Joint Stabilizers
The SB range is numbered rather than named by finish, so it is worth knowing which is which. SB-1300 and SB-7700 are joint stabilizing sealers, SB-8700 and SB-9000 give a wet look, and SB-6400 is the hybrid penetrating option. SureStrip is the fast acting stripper when a previous sealer has failed, AllStrip covers the heavier jobs in a 5 gallon pail, and Solvent RX handles sealer repair and cleanup.
SEK Surebond Hardscape Adhesives and Mortars
SB-10 PaverBond is the general hardscape adhesive, SB-15 Rapid Set comes in a 20 oz sausage tube for production work, and SB-25 Insta-Grip grips in about ten seconds with a non sag hold so vertical units do not need temporary bracing. For bedding, EZ Bond is the polymer modified wet set mortar and EZ Overlay the dry set bed that installs straight over sound existing concrete. EdgeCrete is the cementitious paver edge restraint, with steel edging spikes to match.
SEK Surebond Cleaners
SureClean is the general hardscape cleaner. Efflo Off removes efflorescence and salt deposits using organic salts rather than harsh acid, which matters on newer concrete. S.R.B. Stain and Rust Buster is the concentrated spot cleaner for rust, moss, mildew, leaf and organic staining, and the Oil Extractor lifts oil out of the paver rather than spreading it around. Most are available in an 8 oz sample so you can test on a discreet area first.
Quick Answers
What is the difference between PolySweep and PolySweep X-Treme?
X-Treme is built for wider joints and harder service. PolySweep covers standard paver joints. Both come in a 50 lb bag with color sample kits available.
Which SEK products are for permeable pavement?
PS1500 ready to use jointing compound, Perm Chips ASTM No. 9 joint aggregate, and SB-1000 PermStik to stabilize the chip. These are a system and are not interchangeable with polymeric sand.
Which SB sealer gives a wet look?
SB-8700 and SB-9000. SB-1300 and SB-7700 stabilize the joint, and SB-6400 is the hybrid penetrating option.
How fast does SEK Surebond ship?
Same day from our New Jersey warehouse when you order before the daily cutoff.
