A 3/8 Inch Bead From One Canister Runs Up To 600 Linear Feet

Structure Bond is a polyurethane foam construction adhesive that Techniseal calls the industry strongest. The number that matters is the yield: a single canister run at a 3/8 inch bead gives up to 600 linear feet. Compare that with cartridge adhesive and the difference in trips back to the truck, and in waste, is the reason crews switch. It bonds natural stone, brick, concrete pavers, porcelain, metal, wood, vinyl, and stone.

Up To 600 Linear Feet
From one canister at a 3/8 in bead
Polyurethane Foam
Super strength hardscape adhesive
Adjustable Bead
Precise delivery, no mess, no waste
Very Wide Substrate List
Stone, brick, porcelain, metal, wood, vinyl

Why Contractors Ask for Structure Bond by Name

Cartridge adhesive is slow, wasteful, and runs out at the worst moment. A canister and gun system changes the economics of any job with real linear footage in it.

  • Up to 600 linear feet per canister. At a 3/8 inch bead that is a genuinely different scale of coverage from a tube, which is what makes it viable for retaining walls, caps, and long runs.
  • Techniseal calls it the industry strongest construction adhesive, and it is a polyurethane foam formulation developed specifically for the construction industry.
  • Very precise delivery. The gun system gives you control over exactly where the adhesive lands, which is what Techniseal means by no mess and no waste.
  • Adjustable bead size. Fine bead for a cap stone, heavier bead for a structural run, from the same canister.
  • It bonds an unusually wide range of substrates: natural stone, brick, concrete pavers, porcelain tile, metal, vinyl, wood, and stone. On a mixed material job that is one product instead of three.
  • Designed to work with the Gun II dispenser for quick, controlled application.

Structure Bond Specifications

Product Type Polyurethane foam construction adhesive
Base Polyurethane
Canister Size 24 oz
Yield Up to 600 linear feet at a 3/8 in bead
Bead Size Adjustable
Dispenser Gun II dispenser, available separately or as a bundle above
Approved Substrates Natural stone, brick, concrete pavers, porcelain tile, metal, vinyl, wood, stone
Application Outdoor masonry and hardscape construction
Manufacturer Techniseal

The 600 linear foot figure assumes a 3/8 inch bead. A heavier bead reduces the yield proportionally, and surface condition affects it too. For estimating on a big wall job, work out your total linear feet and your intended bead size before ordering.

Where Structure Bond Works

Structure Bond is for the structural and semi structural bonding on a hardscape job.

  • Retaining wall block courses and caps
  • Seating and garden wall construction
  • Column and pillar construction
  • Step treads, risers, and landings
  • Outdoor kitchen and fire pit structures
  • Coping stones on pools and walls
  • Mixed material assemblies where one adhesive has to bond several substrates
  • Any job with substantial linear footage of bonding

Where Structure Bond Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)

This is a dispenser based canister system. You need the Gun II dispenser to use it, which is sold separately or in the bundle option above.

Polyurethane foam adhesive expands as it cures. Follow the technical data sheet on bead size and clamping or weighting so you do not lift a cap stone out of line.

For vertical veneer with high initial grab, look at Techniseal StickyStone, which is formulated specifically to resist sagging.

For applications on dry, wet, or frozen surfaces, look at Techniseal RG+, which is rated for all weather bonding.

Read the technical data sheet and safety data sheet before use, including cure times and temperature limits.

How to Install Structure Bond

Follow the official Techniseal instructions, linked below. This is the shape of the job:

  1. Confirm the surfaces are clean, sound, and free of dust and loose material.
  2. Fit the canister to the Gun II dispenser per the instructions.
  3. Set the bead size for the application, finer for caps and heavier for structural runs.
  4. Apply the bead to the prepared surface, keeping the delivery consistent.
  5. Set the unit into position promptly and weight or brace as the technical data sheet directs while the adhesive cures.
  6. Clean the gun and store per the instructions, so the canister is usable next time.

Polyurethane foam expands. On cap stones especially, a lighter bead than instinct suggests plus proper weighting is what keeps the finished course flat.

Quick Answers

How far does one canister go?
Up to 600 linear feet at a 3/8 inch bead. Heavier beads reduce that proportionally.

Do I need a special gun?
Yes. Structure Bond is a canister system designed for the Gun II dispenser. It is available separately or in the bundle option on this page.

What can it bond?
Natural stone, brick, concrete pavers, porcelain tile, metal, vinyl, wood, and stone.

How is it different from StickyStone?
Structure Bond is a high yield polyurethane foam for structural and horizontal work. StickyStone is formulated for vertical veneer with high initial grab that resists sagging.

How is it different from RG+?
RG+ is an elastomeric adhesive that stays flexible and bonds on dry, wet, or frozen surfaces. Structure Bond is the high yield foam system for volume work.

Can I use it indoors?
Check the technical data sheet for the specific application. Techniseal positions it primarily for outdoor masonry projects.
