Why Contractors Ask for S-PS by Name

Natural stone and wetcast are porous and unforgiving: oil, grease and weathering soak straight in, and a film sealer changes the look of the stone you paid for. S-PS protects without showing.

• Invisible, natural look finish. No visible residue on polished or unpolished stone.
• Vertical and horizontal. The same product works on walls and caps as on flatwork.
• Stain and chemical defense. Guards against extreme weather, chemicals, oils and harsh staining.

Where S-PS Works

S-PS is recommended by SRW Products for:

• Natural stone, polished or unpolished

Installation at a Glance

The full step by step guide is in the official SRW documentation below. Here is the shape of the job:

1. Clean. the surface and let it dry completely. Wait 28 days after any polymeric sand installation.
2. Apply. one coat by spray, then back roll with an SRW slit foam roller for an even film-free finish.
3. Do not recoat. A second coat can leave the surface looking uneven.
4. Cure. 24 hours before foot traffic, 72 hours before vehicles.

Apply between 50F and 80F on a completely dry surface, and always test in a small discrete area first.

Quick Answers

Will it darken or shine my stone?
No. S-PS is a penetrating sealer with an invisible, natural look finish and no visible residue.

Can I use it on slate?
No. SRW specifically excludes slate. Call us and we will point you at the right product.

Can I put a second coat on for more protection?
No. SRW calls for a single coat; more can look uneven.

S-PS or PS Penetrating?
S-PS is the solvent based stone and wetcast sealer. PS Penetrating is the water based sealer for concrete pavers and walls.

Anything I should know about handling it?
It is solvent based and flammable. Keep it away from heat and open flame, wear gloves and eye protection, and follow the label. Full precautions are in SRW's SDS.
