The Failure This Is Designed To Prevent

A traditional mortar bed is effectively watertight. Any water that gets past the paver joints has nowhere to go, so it sits at the bed line, freezes, expands and lifts. EZ Set builds a bed that lets that water keep moving down and out, which also cuts the efflorescence migration that trapped water drives up through the joints.

• Highly permeable. Promotes internal system drainage rather than trapping water.
• Freeze thaw resistant. Which follows directly from the drainage.
• Fiber reinforced. Trass blend fibers give the bed rigid structural behaviour.
• Minimizes efflorescence migration. Less white bloom coming up through the joints later.
• Mixed on site. You control the batch with 3/8 in angular clear aggregate.
