Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast Water Based Sealer is a fluorochemical polymer sealer specifically formulated for wet cast stone products including wet cast pavers, steps, caps, copings, retaining wall blocks, and decorative wet cast units. It penetrates deep into the wet cast material to reduce oil and dirt penetration, protect against de icing salt corrosion, and shield against UV ray damage. all without altering the natural appearance of the wet cast surface.
Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast delivers a natural look finish with zero gloss. The sealed surface looks exactly as it does unsealed. no sheen, no color enhancement, no visible coating. while being protected from the inside out. The water based formula means it can be applied at temperatures as low as 32°F and can even be applied on slightly damp surfaces, giving it a significant installation advantage over solvent based sealers that require temperatures above 60°F and completely dry surfaces.

Wet cast pavers, steps, and decorative units Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast is specifically formulated for wet cast products. the cast concrete units used for decorative steps, copings, caps, and pavers that are manufactured using a wet cast process. The fluorochemical formula penetrates and bonds with the specific pore structure of wet cast concrete.
Retaining wall blocks, caps, and masonry units The sealer works on retaining wall blocks, wall caps, decorative masonry units, and other wet cast hardscape components. It provides the same oil, salt, and UV protection as other Alliance sealers while maintaining the natural appearance of the masonry surface.
Cold climate applications where low temperature application is needed Unlike solvent based sealers that require temperatures above 60°F, Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast works at temperatures down to 32°F. This makes it well suited for late season sealing projects in northern climates where temperatures drop before the sealing can be completed.

How to Apply Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast Water Based Sealer
Always refer to the Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast Technical Data Sheet before applying. As this product has been discontinued, always test on a hidden 4 sq ft area first. Two people are recommended for application.
Before you begin: Surface must be clean and free of all stains and efflorescence. Temperature must be between 32°F and 85°F. No rain within 24 hours of application. Wait at least 60 days after new installation before sealing. Unsealed surfaces only. cannot be used as a resealer. Can be applied on slightly damp surfaces unlike solvent based sealers.

Remove all stains and clean the surface
Remove all oil, grease, and rust stains using the appropriate Gator Clean products. Clean the full surface with Gator Efflorescence Cleaner to remove efflorescence and prepare the pores for proper sealer adhesion. If any unknown existing coating is present, remove it with Gator Sealer Stripper first. Allow at least 48 hours at above 32°F with no rain before proceeding.

Apply one coat in 60 sq ft sections using a sprayer
Apply one coat of Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast using a sprayer in 60 sq ft sections. Do not thin or dilute the product. Apply evenly across the surface ensuring full coverage.

Back roll immediately with a water based foam roller (yellow)
Immediately after spraying each 60 sq ft section, back roll with a water based foam roller (yellow) to remove excess sealer from the surface. This must happen quickly before the sealer begins to cure. With two people. one spraying and one rolling. the process moves efficiently and the finish comes out consistent and even. Apply one coat only.

Allow 24 hours to rain safe and full use
Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Wet Cast is rain safe and ready for foot traffic after 24 hours. Clean all application equipment with water and soap immediately after use.
