Alliance Gator is the line most people mean when they say "Gator sand". We carry it across the whole job, from the base up to the sealer, so you are not buying the sand here and hunting for the fabric somewhere else. Alliance Gator Polymeric Sand and Jointing

Gator sizes its sand by joint width, and that is the first thing to settle. Super Sand Bond covers joints up to 1 in, Super Sand G2 and Maxx Sand up to 2 in, and Maxx G2 handles the widest joints up to 4 in. Dust Bond is the polymeric stone dust for joints up to 6 in, Nitro Joint Sand and Nitro X are the newer fine joint chemistries, and Eurostone Bond is built for natural stone and slate. Aqua Rock is the ASTM No. 9 chip for permeable pavement rather than a polymeric sand.

Alliance Gator Colors by Product

Gator carries more color choice than most lines, and the names are not interchangeable between products: Maxx G2 Slate Grey and Super Sand Bond Slate Gray are not the same sand. Here is the full Alliance Gator color range we stock, with a 2 oz sample kit available for every one.

Order the color sample kits before the pallet. Paver color shifts in daylight, and a 2 oz jar settles it.

Gator Base and Geotextile Fabric

Gator Base interlocking panels replace several inches of crushed stone and go down in a fraction of the time, with matching Gator Base screws to lock them together. The geotextile range runs GF5 woven for separation, GF20 polyspun and GF35 non woven for drainage and filtration, and Gator Grid for reinforcement under heavier loads.

Alliance Gator Paver Sealers

Gator Seal comes in satin look, wet look and natural look, all solvent based acrylics. The Resealer is the one for surfaces that have been sealed before and need refreshing rather than stripping. Hybrid Seal covers high gloss and zero gloss where you want a water based option. Sample bottles are available on most of the range, and our sealer coverage calculator works out how many gallons your square footage needs.

Alliance Gator Cleaners and Adhesives

XP Oil and Grease Remover for the worst of it, Gator Shampoo as the concentrated general paver cleaner, plus dedicated Efflorescence Cleaner, Efflorescence Slurry Remover and Rust Remover. Most come in an 8 oz sample so you can test on a discreet area first. On the adhesive side, Block Bond XP handles wall and cap work, and XTurf seam tape covers artificial grass seams.

Is Gator Base a real substitute for crushed stone?
It is designed to replace several inches of compacted base on pedestrian installations and goes down far faster. For the load rating and build-up detail, check the Alliance technical data sheet linked on the product page.

Can I see Gator colors before ordering?
Yes. Every Gator jointing sand we carry has a 2 oz color sample kit. Colors are not shared between products, so sample the exact sand you plan to buy.
