Why SEK Surebond SB-15 Rapid Set Hardscape Adhesive?

Fast Set Is A Scheduling Decision

On a cap course or a seat wall the constraint is usually not strength, it is how long each piece has to be held or braced before the crew can move on.

Fast Set Is A Scheduling Decision

On a cap course or a seat wall the constraint is usually not strength, it is how long each piece has to be held or braced before the crew can move on. SB-15 shortens that window hard, which is why it costs more per tube than SB-10 and is still often the cheaper choice on labour.

  • 70 percent faster set up. SEK’s own comparison against equivalent products.
  • 35 percent stronger adhesion. Rigid and durable bond.
  • Bonds wet and frozen substrates. Down to 10 F application temperature.
  • Moisture resistant. Holds up in exterior hardscape service.

SB-15 Or SB-10?

SB-15 is the fast one: 5 minute skin, 24 hour cure, and it bonds a wider list of materials including metal and glass. SB-10 PaverBond sets in 10 to 15 minutes, cures over 2 to 7 days, works down to 0 F rather than 10 F, and has the longer field record. Pick SB-15 for speed, SB-10 for the coldest work and the longer open window.

Working In The Cold?
SB-15 runs down to 10 F and SB-10 goes to 0 F, both on wet or frozen block. Tell us the conditions and the material and we will tell you which one to load. Call (856) 418-4895 or email info@polymericsandstore.com.
