Getting the Weight Right
Thirty two ounces is the general purpose size for paver work. Lighter mallets need more blows and tire you out through repetition. Heavier ones are harder to control on a delicate unit. If you are seating large format slabs, a dead blow with a heavier head transfers more energy with less bounce, and we stock one of those too.
