Five 2 ounce wide mouth containers with lids, each one labeled and filled with genuine SRW Pavermate Z3™ polymeric sand in Tan, Granite, Black, Ivory, and Beige. Your 10 Minute Color Test

1. Pour a small pile of each color into the joints or along the edge of your pavers, outside in natural light.
2. Check your top two picks at different times of day. Colors read warmer in the evening and cooler at midday, and you are choosing something you will see for years.
3. Dampen a pinch of your favorite. Activated polymeric sand cures slightly darker than dry sand, so a quick wet test gives you the closest preview of the finished joint.

Will the cured color match the sample exactly?
Very close, with two honest caveats. Polymeric sand is a natural aggregate, so SRW notes that color can vary between production lots and regions, and activated sand cures a touch darker than dry sand. A dampened sample is your best preview, and it is far more accurate than any photo on any screen.

What is Pavermate Z3, exactly?
SRW's premium polymeric jointing sand for paver joints from 1/16 inch up to 2 inches wide. The formula is rain safe just 10 minutes after activation, with zero haze and zero dust, and it locks out weeds, ants, and washout on paver patios, driveways, and walkways. Full size bags are 50 lb, and one bag typically covers 55 to 75 square feet with narrow joints or 20 to 30 square feet with wide joints.
