How to Use a Slit Foam Roller Cover

Follow the sealer’s own instructions first. This is the shape of the job:

1. Confirm your sealer is water based or solvent based, then pick the matching cover from the dropdown above.
2. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and cured per the sealer instructions.
3. Load the cover, then roll off the excess on the tray before you touch the paver.
4. Work in thin, even passes with light pressure, keeping a wet edge so passes blend.
5. Watch the low spots on textured pavers. If sealer starts collecting, spread it out before it sets.
6. Let the first coat flash off per the sealer’s instructions before deciding on a second coat.
7. Treat the cover as a consumable. Solvent covers in particular are not worth trying to reclaim.
