No Mixing, No Mortar Tub, Straight Over The Old Slab
EZ Overlay is a polymer modified sand and Portland cement blend that installs dry. You distribute it over sound existing concrete, level it, set your paving units and activate the material. SEK says it cuts install time in half against a traditional wet bed, and the reason is simply that nobody is mixing anything.

Overlaying Concrete Without Tearing It Out
A sound but ugly concrete patio is a good candidate for an overlay rather than a demolition. EZ Overlay is the bed that makes that practical, because the labour and mess of a traditional mortar bed is usually what kills the overlay idea before it starts.

The One Requirement
The existing concrete has to be in good condition. An overlay bed bonds to what is underneath it, so a slab that is spalling, heaving or badly cracked will telegraph those problems straight up through the new surface. If the slab is failing, EZ Overlay is not the fix.
- Concrete must be sound. No active heaving, spalling or structural cracking.
- Not for commercial vehicular traffic. Light residential traffic only.
