SEK Surebond EdgeCrete Cementitious Paver Edge Restraint, 50 lb Bag
When A Bag Beats A Rail
Rail and spike restraint is fast and cheap on a compacted dense graded base. It is much less convincing over open graded stone, on a tight radius, or where the perimeter is irregular. A cementitious haunch conforms to whatever shape the edge actually is and derives its strength from mass and bond rather than from a fastener.
- Fiber reinforced to resist cracking. The failure mode of a plain cement haunch.
- Suitable for open graded base applications. Where spiked restraint is least reliable.
- No fasteners. Nothing to buy separately, nothing to drive, nothing to rust.
- Follows any shape. Curves, radii and irregular perimeters without cutting rail.
Where EdgeCrete Is Used
- Permeable and open graded base installations
- Curved and irregular perimeters
- Edges where a visible plastic rail is unacceptable
- Standard paver and natural stone perimeters

How It Compares
We stock two other cementitious restraints in 50 lb bags from other manufacturers, so if you are price shopping the bagged approach there are options. If you would rather use a plastic rail, look at Snap Edge for standard pavers or Low Profile for thin stone and porcelain.
