Techniseal WL5 Wet Look Sealer and Joint Stabilizer Sample, 8 oz
What You Get
One 8 ounce bottle of Techniseal WL5 Wet Look Paver Sealer and Joint Stabilizer, drawn from a factory sealed container and filled here at our New Jersey warehouse.
- 8 ounce sample bottle with a sealed cap, clearly labeled with the product name.
- Enough sealer for a small test patch, which is plenty to judge sheen and color change.
- The same material as the full size. Nothing is thinned, tinted or altered.
- Filled by Polymeric Sand Store. We repackage it ourselves so you are not buying a whole gallon to run one test.
Why Test a Sealer Before You Seal
Sealer results depend on the stone, not just the sealer. The same product can look noticeably different on a smooth concrete paver, a tumbled paver, travertine and natural flagstone. A sample removes the guesswork.
- Sheen reads differently on every surface. A satin on dense concrete can look closer to gloss on porous stone.
- Color change is not reversible. Enhancing and wet look sealers deepen the stone permanently.
- Older or previously sealed pavers react differently. A test patch shows blotching or resistance before it costs you a patio.
- You can compare side by side. Order two or three samples and seal adjacent pavers to pick the finish you actually want.
About Techniseal WL5 Wet Look Paver Sealer and Joint Stabilizer
WL5 is a solvent based paver protector that works as both a sealer and a joint stabilizer, for installations using polymeric sand or traditional jointing aggregates. It leaves a durable, rich glossy wet look finish, and Techniseal singles it out as the product of choice for recoating a surface that has been sealed before.
| Product type | Paver sealer and joint stabilizer |
| Base | Solvent based |
| Finish | Gloss, wet look |
| Notable | Techniseal recommends it for recoating previously sealed pavers |
| Coverage | About 150 sq ft per gallon |
| Sample size | 8 oz bottle |
How to Run the Test
- Pick an out of the way spot, a spare paver or a corner that furniture will cover.
- Clean the area and let it dry completely. Any efflorescence or dirt will change the result.
- Apply the sealer the way you plan to apply the full batch, brush, roller or sprayer.
- Let it cure fully before judging. Most finishes look glossier while wet than they do once dry.
- Check the patch in daylight and again after it rains so you know how it will look year round.
Made and Packed by Polymeric Sand Store
This is our own sample program. Polymeric Sand Store buys Techniseal sealer in full size containers and fills these 8 ounce test bottles in house, which is why the vendor on this listing is Polymeric Sand Store rather than the sealer manufacturer. The product inside is genuine Techniseal material, unmodified. Techniseal does not sell an 8 ounce package of this sealer, so if you want to try before you buy, this is the way to do it.
Ordering the Full Size
Once you have picked your finish, we stock Techniseal WL5 Wet Look Paver Sealer and Joint Stabilizer in full size containers, and we can talk through coverage for your square footage before you order. Contractors ordering in quantity should call us for pricing.
