Broom handles come in 15/16 inch and 1 1/8 inch and they do not interchange. This is the 1 1/8, which suits wide push brooms and shop brooms. If your head takes the slimmer handle, the 15/16 inch Quickie 54102 is the one you want and we stock that too. Measure the socket before ordering.

Why the Thicker Handle Matters on Site
A wide push broom loaded with sand puts real leverage on the handle. The slimmer household size flexes and eventually snaps at the socket. The 1 1/8 inch handle is stiff enough to push a full width broom through a bed of polymeric sand without whipping, which makes the work faster as well as making the handle last.
