Purdy Revolution Roller Frame, 9 in, Threaded for Extension Pole
Why It Suits Sealer Work
- Threaded for a pole, so you can seal a slab standing up and keep a wet edge moving.
- Plastic cage, which will not corrode the way a bare steel cage does when it sits in a solvent or a water based sealer.
- Nine inch is the standard width, so covers are easy to find and cheap to replace.
- Professional grade frame, stiff enough not to flex and leave tramlines at the edge of the nap.

A Word on Covers and Solvents
The frame is only half the system. Match the cover nap to the surface, a shorter nap for smooth concrete and a longer one for textured or tumbled pavers. And check the cover is rated for the sealer you are using: a cover intended for water based paint can break down in a strong solvent sealer and shed fibre into the finish. Ask us and we will tell you what pairs with the sealer you have bought.
Cleaning It
Water based sealer comes out with warm soapy water if you do it straight away. Solvent based sealer needs the solvent the manufacturer specifies, often xylene, and that means gloves and ventilation. Either way, clean it before it cures. A frame with hardened sealer in the cage never spins freely again.
