A Triple Blend That Melts Hard and Treads Lightly
Pink Blizzard is a proprietary blend of magnesium chloride, agricultural based corrosion inhibitors and sodium chloride, with CMA anti-icing technology. It is built to melt in subzero conditions while staying kinder to metal, concrete and landscaping than straight rock salt.

What Is Actually in the Pail
Most ice melts are one salt in a bag. This one blends three things on purpose, and each does a different job.
| Magnesium chloride | The fast actor. Starts melting on contact and keeps working well below freezing. |
| Sodium chloride | The volume component that keeps the cost per pound sensible. |
| Agricultural corrosion inhibitors | What holds the blend back from chewing on metal railings, rebar and vehicle panels. |
| CMA anti-icing technology | Helps stop ice re-bonding to the pavement after the first melt. |
Why Contractors Pick the Pink
- Works in subzero temperatures, where a plain rock salt has already stopped doing anything useful.
- Minimizes corrosion on metals, concrete and landscaping compared with untreated salt.
- Formulated with kids and pets in mind, an eco conscious blend rather than a bare chloride.
- The pink shows up against snow, so you can see exactly where you have spread and where you have not.
- 45 lb resealable pail that survives being dragged in and out of a truck all winter.
