Spread
Spread the sand across a completely dry paver surface.

Sweep and vibrate
Sweep it into the joints and compact with a plate compactor. Top up low joints.

Sweep off
Remove every grain from the paver faces before water touches it, with a soft broom or a leaf blower on low.

Activate with water
Shower setting until the joints are saturated but not flooded. Follow the bag for section size and timing.
