SEK Surebond Efflo Off Efflorescence Cleaner Sample, 8 oz
What You Get
One 8 ounce bottle of SEK Surebond Efflo Off, drawn from a factory sealed container and filled here at our New Jersey warehouse.
- 8 ounce sample bottle with a sealed cap, clearly labeled
- The same buffered concentrate as the gallon, built on organic salts rather than harsh acid
- Enough for a test patch, typically roughly 8 to 12 square feet
Acid Clears Efflorescence and Damages the Paver
The traditional fix for efflorescence is muriatic acid, which does clear the bloom and also etches the paver surface and kills whatever it runs into. Efflo Off is buffered and built on organic salts and additives instead, so it lifts the deposit without that collateral damage.
A sample lets you confirm two things on your own pavers: that the bloom actually clears, and that the surface finish is unchanged afterward. Etching is permanent, so testing in a hidden spot is cheap insurance even with a buffered product.
How to Use the Sample
- Choose an area with visible white deposit, ideally out of sight
- Dilute per the SEK label
- Pre wet the surface, apply, and keep it from drying on the paver
- Agitate with a stiff brush, then rinse thoroughly
- Dry completely before judging, and expect heavy deposits to need a second pass
What It Removes
SEK rates coverage at roughly 100 to 200 square feet per diluted gallon depending on how heavy the deposit is.
- White efflorescence bloom on new pavers
- Mineral salt deposits on block walls
- Hard water and salt residue
- Pre-seal cleanup on concrete hardscape
