Why DG Dual Guard High Gloss Paver Sealer?

Two Protections in One Coat

A sealer job that goes wrong is worse than no sealer: blushing, peeling, blotchy color, joints that still wash out. The failures almost always trace to the wrong product, a damp surface, or too many coats of the wrong thing.

Description

Two Protections in One Coat

A commercial-strength solvent-based sealer that protects two ways in one step: an acrylic film that delivers the high-gloss wet look on the surface, and a penetrating siloxane that guards the paver from within. That double action defends against freeze-thaw damage, deicing salts, chemical erosion and efflorescence while staying breathable.

Where DG Dual Guard High Gloss Paver Sealer Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)

We would rather tell you this before you buy than argue about it after. Per SRW Products, do not use more than one sealer on the same project, and never seal a wet or damp surface: joints and pavers must be dry and fully cured first. SRW also says do not use DG Dual Guard on clay pavers or brick, slate, sandstone, bluestone, polished stone, concrete overlays, or structures under hydrostatic pressure.

Not sure if your project qualifies? Call us at (856) 418-4895 before you order. We will give you a straight answer, even if the answer is that this is not the right product for your job.

Quick Answers

How soon can I seal new pavers?
Wait 60 to 90 days from the paver's manufacture date, then clean, dry, and seal.

How soon after sanding joints?
Let polymeric sand cure fully first; SRW says to wait 28 days.

Roller or sprayer?
Either, thin and even. Use the SRW slit foam roller matched to your sealer type, or a sprayer rated for it: solvent-based products need solvent-rated equipment.

Is there anything I should know about handling it?
Wear gloves and eye protection, follow the label, and keep it away from children and pets until placed or cured. Full precautions are in the SDS below.
