Getting a Good Result
- Make sure the material is clean and dry before you apply. Dust between particles stops the binder gripping.
- Apply evenly and let it soak down through the layer rather than pooling on top.
- Work in sections so you keep a wet edge and do not leave banding.
- Give it the full 24 hours to reach maximum strength before traffic. A partly cured binder pulls apart under a boot.
- Expect to top up over years. Any binder on an exposed surface weathers eventually.
Where It Is Not the Answer
This stabilizes a decorative or functional loose surface. It is not a structural binder and it will not turn gravel into a load bearing drive. If you need a bound surface that takes vehicle weight, a two part resin bound system like ROMEX PROFI-DEKO is the right product, and we stock that too. Tell us what the surface has to carry and we will point you at the right one.
