For the Five Gallon Pails, Not the Quart Cans
A plastic lever sized for five gallon pail lids. Pail lids clip around a deep rim and fight back, and levering them off with a screwdriver deforms the clips so the lid never seats properly again. This does it evenly, all the way round.

Lever it in one spot and you distort the clips, and a pail that will not reseal is a real problem when it holds four remaining gallons of sealer.
