Where STORM Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)
Light duty vehicular only. Techniseal caps STORM at approximately 3 tons loading for residential driveways. For heavier vehicular traffic use HP NextGel.
Do not use it outside the 1/8 in to 2 in joint range, or with intersecting spaces wider than 4 in.
The 5 year warranty is shorter than the 20 years on HP NextGel and NOCO. On a premium install where longevity is the priority, weigh that difference.

How to Install STORM
Follow the official Techniseal STORM instructions, linked below. This is the shape of the job:
- Confirm the pavers or stone are laid on a properly prepared base and the joints are clear of debris.
- Pour STORM out and sweep it into the joints. No mixing is required.
- Work it fully down into the joints, including the intersecting spaces where four units meet.
- Sweep the excess off the surface. Collect it, because it is reusable.
- Activate per the Techniseal instructions for the conditions you are working in, wet or dry.
- Keep traffic off through the cure period given in the technical data sheet.
Collect the excess rather than binning it. Reusability is one of the reasons the material costs what it does, and on a big job the saved material is worth the extra few minutes.
