Why Order a Color Sample Pack

Polymeric sand almost never looks like the photo. Printed color charts and screen images shift, and joint sand changes tone again once it is compacted, watered in and cured. Seeing the dry granules next to your actual pavers is the only reliable way to choose.

• Screens lie. Two monitors will show the same gray two different ways.
• Sand darkens when it sets. Most colors cure a shade deeper than the loose granules.
• Your paver color drives the choice. A gray that disappears on charcoal pavers can look stark on tan.
• A wrong pallet is expensive. A $15.99 sample pack is cheaper than re-sanding a driveway.

About SRW WetLok Permeable Jointing Sand

WetLok is SRW's permeable jointing sand, which is a different animal from standard polymeric sand. It locks the joint while still letting water pass through, so it suits permeable paver systems and rain safe installs where a sealing polymeric sand would defeat the drainage design.

How to Compare

• Lay a paver outside in daylight. Indoor light will mislead you every time.
• Pour a small line of each color into the joint area you are matching.
• Mist the sand lightly with water. That is much closer to the cured color than dry granules.
• Look at it again in the shade and at the end of the day. Joint sand reads differently as light changes.
