Why a Cross Brand Pack Beats a Color Chart

Every manufacturer names its colors differently, and no two are quite the same shade. One brand's granite gray can sit noticeably warmer or cooler than another's. If you are matching existing pavers, or matching sand you installed years ago, the only way to get it right is to hold the real granules against the stone.

• Color names do not transfer between brands. Two products with the same name will not match.
• Printed charts and screens shift. The same sand looks different on two monitors.
• You may not be locked to one brand. If a competing product is the better color, this pack finds it.
• Matching an existing patio is unforgiving. A near miss reads as a mistake once it cures.

How to Compare

• Lay the containers out on the actual paver in daylight, not under indoor light.
• Mist each sample lightly with water. Cured joint sand is closer to the damp color than the dry color.
• Look again in shade and late in the day. Joint sand shifts as the light changes.
• Once you have a winner, note the brand and color name from the label and order the full bag by that name.
