About paver & stone sealers
Paver and stone sealers from every major hardscape brand, in wet look, satin, matte and natural penetrating finishes. Sealing protects against staining, slows color fade from UV, and makes a patio far easier to clean. It also permanently changes how your pavers look, which is why we decant an 8 oz sample of nearly every sealer we sell.

Not sure which finish you want? Order a sealer sample, brush it on two or three pavers in a corner, and let it dry fully. It costs a fraction of a gallon and it is the only reliable way to know what a finish does to your specific stone.
Choosing a Finish
Finish is the decision most people get wrong, because a sealer looks completely different on a screen than it does cured on your own pavers.

Film Forming or Penetrating
Film forming sealers sit on the surface and give you gloss, color enhancement and joint stabilization. They need stripping and resealing every few years. Penetrating sealers soak in and repel water and stains from within, last longer, and change appearance very little, but give no sheen and no joint stabilization.
- Choose film forming if you want color enhancement, shine, or your polymeric sand joints stabilized
- Choose penetrating if you want protection with no appearance change, especially on natural stone
- Joint stabilizing sealers do both, hardening the sand in the joints as they seal
Before You Seal
- Clean first. Sealing over dirt or efflorescence locks it in permanently
- Wait about 30 days after installing polymeric sand so joints cure and efflorescence works out
- Check the forecast, most sealers need a dry window of 24 hours or more
