How to Use Alliance Gator XP Oil and Grease Remover
Before you begin: Surface must be dry. Temperature must be above 40°F (4°C). Provide maximum ventilation. If the surface is sealed, colored, or painted, always test on a 4 sq inch hidden area first. Do not apply to asphalt. Prior use of other cleaners may reduce the effectiveness of Alliance Gator XP Oil and Grease Remover.

Shake the bottle well
Shake Alliance Gator XP Oil and Grease Remover thoroughly before applying. The product formula requires mixing before each use to ensure consistent performance on your oil or grease stain.

Apply to the stain at 1/8 inch thickness
Pour Alliance Gator XP Oil and Grease Remover directly onto the stain, spreading it to a coating thickness of 1/8 inch. Extend the coverage approximately 1 inch beyond the full perimeter of the stain to ensure all embedded oil at the edges is treated. Each 1 quart bottle covers approximately 6 square feet at the correct thickness.

Allow to dry completely to powder. 12 to 24 hours
Leave Alliance Gator XP Oil and Grease Remover undisturbed and allow it to dry completely from liquid to powder. Drying time is 12 to 24 hours depending on temperature, humidity, and ventilation. Do not rush this step. The product must be fully dry and powdered before sweeping. drying is when the oil transfer from surface to product occurs. Warmer temperatures and better ventilation speed up the drying process. If the area still appears dark after drying, provide additional ventilation and allow more time for moisture to evaporate before sweeping.

Sweep up the dried powder
Once Alliance Gator XP Oil and Grease Remover has dried completely to powder, sweep it up thoroughly. The oil stain should be removed along with the powder. Rinse off any remaining residue with water after sweeping.

Reapply for stubborn or deeply embedded stains
If the stain is still visible after the first application, reapply Alliance Gator XP Oil and Grease Remover. On the second application, scrub the product into the stain with a hard bristle brush before leaving it to dry. Repeat the drying and sweeping process. Deeply embedded or old stains may require two to three applications to fully remove.

One time use
So we bought 2 bottles of this pricey product. Yes it took out most of the stains. Not 100% in some spots. My problem is once open the product hardens so I apply and a few days later want to do again and liquid hardens. I tried to not open secure tab completely with second bottle but that didn’t work. So product is good if you need for many areas or large area but don’t expect to use again.

Wish I had tried this first!
I literally tried four different processes to remove automobile oil drips on my driveway pavers: dish soap, degreaser, steam cleaning, baking soda. The stains were somewhat lightened but still visible. After one application of this product, they were finally gone! I was nervous when I first brushed away the dried product since it appeared to leave bleached white areas where I had applied it and let it dry. But, after hosing it off and allowing the pavers to dry, there was no hint of either the oil stains OR the white residue from the product. Trying it again this afternoon on another area and hoping for similar results!
