About this item
- They guarantee even space gaps between tiles. That is the core job, and on porcelain it is the difference between a professional install and an obvious one.
- The rubber version reduces noise. On a balcony, terrace, or any tile over a hard structural deck, that is a real benefit rather than a marketing line.
- The plastic version adds stability and comes in a newly optimized 10 mm height, which suits standard outdoor porcelain joint specifications.
- They save time and effort. Techniseal makes that claim for both versions, and anyone who has set a large porcelain field without spacers knows why.
- The rubber version works indoors and outdoors, so one product covers an interior floor and the terrace it opens onto.
- Made from quality material rather than the brittle spacers that snap when you try to pull them.

Where Techniseal Tile Spacers Works
Anywhere porcelain is being set to a consistent joint.
- Outdoor porcelain paver patios and terraces
- Porcelain pool surrounds
- Balconies and rooftop terraces, where the rubber version helps with noise
- Interior porcelain floors
- Large format tile installations
- Pedestal and adhered porcelain systems
- Any job where joint consistency will be judged up close
Where Techniseal Tile Spacers Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)
Match the spacer to your specified joint width. The plastic version is optimized at 10 mm, so confirm that suits your design before ordering.
Spacers set the gap; they do not level the tile. Use a leveling system where flatness across large format tile is critical.
Remove spacers per your installation system before jointing, unless the system specifically leaves them in place.
Read the current technical data sheet for the sizing available in each material.

How to Use Techniseal Tile Spacers
Follow your porcelain installation system instructions. This is the shape of the job:
- Confirm your specified joint width and choose the matching spacer.
- Set the first tiles and establish your reference lines.
- Place spacers at each intersection as you lay, keeping them consistent across the field.
- Check the joint line against your reference regularly rather than only at the end of a row.
- Remove the spacers at the point your installation system directs.
- Joint with Techniseal NextGel Porcelain once the tiles are set and the surface is clean.
Check your lines as you go, not at the end. A drift of a millimetre per tile is invisible at tile three and glaring at tile thirty.
