NextBase is Techniseal panel base system for pedestrian paver installations. Each panel takes the place of up to 300 lb of base aggregate and 8 inches of excavation depth. On a back garden with no machine access, that is the difference between a job you can quote and one you cannot. Panels interlock for stability, rotate 90 degrees for layout flexibility, carry cutting marks every 3 inches, and have built in drainage holes, slopes, and channels.

Each panel covers 6 1/8 sq ft, so a 10 panel pack covers approximately 61 sq ft before allowing for cuts and waste. On an irregular shape, add a margin. Give us your square footage and we will work out the pack count.

Where NextBase Panel Base System Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)
This is rated for pedestrian installations. Techniseal is explicit about that. Do not use NextBase under a driveway or any vehicular surface.
Techniseal lists flat surface level. Sloped installations need a different approach.
A panel base does not remove the need for correct subgrade preparation. The ground beneath still has to be properly prepared and compacted per the instructions.
