The traditional fix for rust on concrete is muriatic acid, and the traditional result is a rust stain replaced by an etched, lightened patch. That trade is not necessary.

Deal with the source first. Removing the stain under a rusting railing is temporary if the railing keeps rusting.

How to Install Rust Stain Remover

- Identify and address the source of the rust where you can, or the stain will return.
- Sweep the area clear of loose debris.
- Test in a small discrete area to confirm the result on your specific pavers.
- Apply per the technical data sheet, observing the specified dwell time.
- Rinse thoroughly and completely.
- Repeat on heavy or long standing stains if needed, then reseal if the surface was previously sealed and the seal was affected.
Fertilizer spotting is usually the easiest to remove and the easiest to prevent. Sweeping granules off hard surfaces before watering saves the callback entirely.
