For Moss, Mildew, Leaf Marks, Wine, And Everything Else The Garden And The Party Leave Behind

Organic stains are a different chemistry problem from oil or rust. Moss, mildew, dead leaf tannin, wine, blood, and non greasy food all need to be broken down rather than lifted out or dissolved. This concentrated, biodegradable Techniseal remover handles that group, works on bare and sealed surfaces, needs minimum scrubbing, and rinses off easily.

Why Contractors Ask for Organic Stain Remover by Name

A patio under trees stains every autumn, and a patio used for entertaining stains every weekend. Neither responds well to a degreaser or an acid.

  • It covers the whole organic group. Techniseal names moss, mildew, dead leaves, wine, blood, and non greasy food stains. That is most of what actually lands on a residential patio.
  • It requires minimum scrubbing. On a textured or tumbled paver, scrubbing is both hard work and a good way to damage the surface. Letting chemistry do the work is better for the paver and for your back.
  • It works without damaging or discoloring the material, which matters on colored pavers and natural stone.
  • Recommended for bare and sealed surfaces alike, so you can treat an existing sealed patio without stripping it.
  • Concentrated, so a 25 ounce bottle goes considerably further than the size suggests.
  • Biodegradable, which matters when you are rinsing next to lawns, beds, and pools.
  • Very broad surface approval, covering natural stone, brick, stamped concrete, and interior concrete as well as pavers.

This is a concentrate, so the working quantity depends on the dilution given in the technical data sheet. Do not judge it by bottle size against a whole patio until you have read the mixing ratio.

Where Organic Stain Remover Works

Organic staining follows shade, trees, and use.

  • Shaded patios and walkways with moss or mildew
  • Surfaces under trees stained by dead leaves and tannin
  • Entertaining areas with wine and food spills
  • North facing paving that stays damp
  • Pool decks and terraces
  • Natural stone and brick affected by organic growth
  • Previously sealed patios where the staining sits on the sealer
  • Interior concrete in damp areas

Where Organic Stain Remover Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)

This targets organic stains. For oil and grease use the Dirt and Grease Cleaner or the Pro Grade Oil and Grease Remover, for rust use the Rust Stain Remover, and for paint or tar use the Paint, Tar and Rubber Remover.

It treats the staining, not the cause. If moss keeps returning, the underlying issue is shade, drainage, or moisture retention, and that needs addressing separately.

Always test in a small discrete area first, particularly on natural stone and colored pavers.

Read the technical data sheet for the correct dilution before you mix. It is a concentrate, and more is not better.

How to Install Organic Stain Remover

Follow the official Techniseal instructions, linked below. This is the shape of the job:

  1. Sweep the surface clear of leaves and loose debris.
  2. Read the technical data sheet and dilute the concentrate to the specified ratio.
  3. Test in a small discrete area first.
  4. Apply and allow the specified dwell time. Let the product break the staining down rather than scrubbing immediately.
  5. Agitate lightly only where needed. Techniseal notes minimum scrubbing is required.
  6. Rinse thoroughly and completely.

Give it the full dwell time before deciding it has not worked. Organic staining breaks down over minutes, not seconds, and scrubbing early just moves it around.
