Techniseal iN Paver Sealer Natural Look, Penetrating Impregnating Sealer
An Impregnating Sealer That Protects From Inside The Stone, Not On Top Of It
iN is a water based impregnating sealer, which means it is non film forming. It soaks in and shields pavers and natural stone from erosion and staining agents without leaving a coating on the surface and without altering the appearance. Because there is no film, there is no added slickness, which is why Techniseal specifically recommends it for hazardous and slip prone areas.

Why Contractors Ask for iN Natural Look Sealer by Name
Film forming sealers can make a wet surface slicker and they can peel or cloud if the surface was not perfectly prepared. An impregnating sealer sidesteps both problems.
- Nothing sits on the surface. iN is impregnating and non film forming, so there is no coating to peel, cloud, or wear through in traffic lanes.
- Techniseal recommends it for slip prone areas. That is a direct call out in their product literature, and it is the practical consequence of not adding a film to the surface.
- It preserves the natural color. Matt finish, natural look, no enhancement. What you laid is what you keep.
- Approved on natural stone as well as concrete. Techniseal lists natural stone, concrete pavers, concrete slabs, interlocking pavers, wet cast pavers, poured concrete, and interior concrete.
- It works indoors too. Interior concrete is on Techniseal approved surface list for iN, which is unusual in a hardscape sealer line.
- Water based. Lower odor, easier cleanup, no solvent handling.
- We fill our own 8 ounce sample bottles of this sealer so you can test the result on your actual stone before committing to a gallon. That is our service, not a Techniseal package.

Techniseal publishes up to 120 sq ft per gallon and up to 600 sq ft per 5 gallon pail as a concrete paver sealer. Coverage on an impregnating sealer still depends heavily on how porous the surface is, because the product soaks in rather than sitting on top. A dense wet cast paver and an open natural stone will absorb very different amounts. Test on your material and scale from there, or call us and we will help you estimate.
Where iN Natural Look Sealer Works
iN is the choice where surface traction matters or where a film would be wrong.
- Pool decks and pool surrounds
- Steps, stairs, and landings
- Sloped patios and driveways
- Natural stone where a surface film would look wrong
- Wet cast and cast stone surfaces
- Interior concrete floors
- Poured concrete patios and walkways
- Any surface where the customer wants protection without a visible change
Where iN Natural Look Sealer Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)
This is not a color enhancer. If the customer wants richer color, use CB+ or JS instead.
This is not a joint stabilizer. NS, JS, and JSW stabilize sand and aggregate joints; iN is a surface protector.
Do not apply over a dirty or damp surface. Impregnating sealers lock in whatever is there.
Read the current technical data sheet for temperature and cure requirements before you start.

How to Install iN Natural Look Sealer
Follow the official Techniseal instructions, linked below. This is the shape of the job:
- Clean the surface thoroughly and let it dry completely.
- Order our 8 ounce sample bottle and test on your actual material first if the surface is unusual or valuable.
- Apply evenly per the technical data sheet, letting it penetrate rather than building a coat.
- Remove any excess that has not absorbed within the time specified by Techniseal.
- Respect the cure time before returning the surface to use.
The most common mistake with an impregnating sealer is applying it like a film sealer and leaving the excess to dry on the surface. Excess that has not soaked in needs to come off.
Quick Answers
Will it make my pool deck slippery?
Techniseal specifically recommends iN for hazardous and slip prone areas, because it is non film forming and does not add a coating to the surface.
Will it change the color of my stone?
No. iN is a natural look, matt finish sealer with no color enhancement.
Can I use it inside?
Yes. Interior concrete and poured concrete are both on the approved surface list.
Does it stabilize the joint sand?
No. For joint stabilization look at NS, JS, or JSW.
Can I try it before buying a gallon?
Yes. We fill 8 ounce sample bottles of this sealer ourselves and list them separately, so you can test it on your own stone first. The sample bottle is ours, not a Techniseal package.
How is it different from NS?
NS forms a protective film and stabilizes joints on concrete pavers. iN penetrates instead, adds no film, works on natural stone too, and suits slip prone areas.
