Why Contractors Ask for Gator XTurf XP Odor Remover by Name

Deodorizers cover a smell for a day. An enzyme formula digests the organic material producing it, which is why the smell does not come back once it has finished working.

  • Enzymatic formula that biodegrades urine, body odor and bio-based stains.
  • Keeps working as long as any bio-based mess is present.
  • Neutral pH and environmentally safe.
  • Safe for kids and pets.
  • Works on hard and soft surfaces, not just turf.
  • Light fresh scent and ready to use straight from the bottle.

Where Gator XTurf XP Odor Remover Works

Alliance rates the XTurf XP Odor Remover for:

  • Artificial grass and turf
  • Pet areas and dog runs
  • Patios and hard surfaces
  • Anywhere with dog or cat malodor

Where Gator XTurf XP Odor Remover Should NOT Be Used (Straight From the Manufacturer)

Not to be applied directly on people or pets.

How fast the enzyme works depends on temperature, humidity and how much biomaterial is present. Heavy or old messes take longer and may need repeating.

How to Remove Pet Odor From Artificial Grass

The full step by step guide is in the official documentation below. Here is the shape of the job:

  1. Remove the mess first, without spreading it, then spray the source area and wait 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Wipe or sponge up the excess.
  3. Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the enzymes to biodegrade what is left.
  4. Repeat if odor persists, spraying over the remaining stain and working through the same sequence.

Spray or Infill? Two Different Fixes for Pet Odor

They solve the problem at different points, and heavy dog use usually wants both.

  • This spray is reactive. It digests a specific mess after it has happened, and it works on hard surfaces too.
  • Zeo-White zeolite infill is preventive. It sits in the turf permanently and absorbs ammonia as it is produced.
  • For one dog on a small lawn, the spray on its own is usually enough.
  • For multiple dogs or a dedicated run, put Zeo-White down as the top infill layer and keep the spray for incidents.
  • Rain helps in both cases. Flushing carries broken-down material through the turf backing and recharges the zeolite.

Quick Answers

How is this different from a deodorizer?
A deodorizer masks the smell. This is enzymatic, so it breaks down the organic material producing the smell in the first place.

How long does it take to work?
Wait 1 to 2 minutes before wiping, then 10 to 15 minutes for the enzymes to biodegrade the rest.

Is it safe around my dog?
Alliance lists it as safe for kids and pets with a neutral pH, but states it should not be applied directly on people or pets.

Can I use it indoors or on a patio?
Alliance says it is effective on hard and soft surfaces, so it is not limited to turf.

Do I need to rinse it off?
No rinse step is published. Spray, wait, wipe the excess and let the enzymes finish.

What if the smell comes back?
Spray again over the remaining stain and repeat. For persistent pet areas, add Zeo-White zeolite as your top infill layer.

How much does a bottle cover?
Alliance does not publish a coverage figure. It is a spot treatment rather than an area product.
