Easy to apply.
Great product
The product worked as advertised for me. I followed manufacturer directions. I was fixing a few spots where ants had broken through the old polymeric sand and where brick pavers had separated a little.
I applied the material as described on the back of the bag (20 lb). Even after a full day of sun, the material did not coalesce. The sand needed to be removed (with a blower) before I could do anything. I opened the 50 lb bag of the same material and noticed that the texture and color of the sand between the two bags was very different. The 50 lb bag contained finer grains and was matte in color, while the 20 lb bag was coarser and shinier. I applied sand from the 50 lb bag over a small area and it worked perfectly. Please be aware that the material variation could be an issue.
I have used another brand several times with a variety of results, colors and textures. The company response was we have one color and type. Even though the labels show either gray or tan.
THAT is why I searched for an alternative and I couldn’t be happier. So much so, I’m ordering more!
